On Friday, August 28, 2009, Mr Basil Sellers AM was honoured with the Sir Roden Cutler Medal for his continued support of charitable causes.
Around 400 friends, family and associates from the business, philanthropic and sporting fields gathered at the gala dinner to recognise Basil's enormous charitable contributions and to help raise much needed funds for Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Foundation.
Guests were entertained by a stellar line up of talent including Angel Tupai and the 2009 graduates of the Talent Development Program, Jack Thompson reciting Banjo Paterson, live art by Tandem Project, Leading Men, and for-on-night only the spectacular Basil Sellers All Stars (incorporating Shane Lee, Mike Whitney, John Waters and daughter Bec, Mike Conway and supporting musicians). MC Jason Morrison carried proceedings beautifully.

It was a warm and wonderful evening. Congratulations Basil!.
